What we do

Finance provides leadership of the financial integrity of the firm, business intelligence and advocacy, and applies this expertise to positively impact the firm's financial standing and strategic business objectives. We are responsible for control, recording, reporting and communication of financial information.

Areas Include:

  • Compensation Program Support
    Responsible for the financial integrity of our compensation programs. Ensures that both compensation and business expenses are accurate and easily understood, enabling the firm to attract, retain, and motivate associates.

  • Expenditure Management
    Lead the development, governance and execution of the planning, controls, processing, payment and reporting of firm and branch expenses.

  • Financial Reporting
    Responsible for the month-end close process and effectively communicating firm financial results. Additionally, Financial Reporting partners with business areas on financial insights to aid in decision-making as well as inform the firm's month-end close and financial planning processes.

  • Finance – Risk Management
    Execute the firms risk management program, which includes performing periodic risk assessments, process review, control design evaluation, monitoring key risks, and reporting on risks and controls.

  • Regulatory and Operational Reporting
    Reconciliation and control over the firm's operating systems, reporting the firm's financial condition under regulatory guidelines, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

    External Reporting files reports with the SEC, and establishes and maintains the firm's accounting policies.

  • Sourcing and Administrative Services
    Leads the firm's vendor negotiating efforts in partnership with all divisions to achieve the best solution for the firm.

  • Tax and Capital
    Tax ensures the firm's tax compliance in all jurisdictions in which we operate, reporting compliance and evaluates opportunities to minimize the tax liabilities of the firm and all of its partners.

    Capital or Partnership Accounting supports all General, Subordinated Limited, and Limited Partners, to include recording changes in GP, SLP, and LP ownership.

    Asset Management is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of systems and procedures to safeguard, control, analyze and communicate the firm's fixed assets.

  • Treasury
    Manages the firm's cash, and works closely with various relationship banks.

  • Firm Analytics
    Partners with business areas to provide analytical and data insights used to inform and influence firm decision making and strategic planning.
