Headquarters Internships

As an intern at Edward Jones headquarters, students will work within specific departments on projects and daily activities that will provide them with invaluable business and financial services experience. Interns will also work with a leader and mentor(s) who provide support and feedback. In addition, interns have the opportunity to meet and network with other interns, associates and leaders throughout the firm.

  • Internships are for a 10-week program that takes place during the summer
  • Available in both St. Louis, Mo., and Tempe, Ariz.
  • Time period to apply for consideration is January 1 - February 28
  • Internships are available in many of our divisions. Participating divisions include:
     
    • Branch Development
    • Client Solutions Group
    • Human Resources
    • Finance
    • Information Systems
    • Internal Audit
    • Legal/Compliance
    • Operations
    • Service

An internship at Edward Jones gives students a realistic job preview of a full time position. Interns are responsible for meaningful work that helps them better understand the firm and the industry. In addition to day-to-day activities, interns participate in a speaker series, where senior leaders from the firm share about their career experiences. Interns also participate in a service project and give a final presentation to senior leaders at the conclusion of the program.

Who should consider applying for this position?

  • Students completing their sophomore or junior years are eligible to apply.
  • Typically, we look for students in business or information technology related majors (i.e. Accounting, Business Administration, CS/CIS/BIS/MIS, Finance, Marketing, etc.) with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • We look for students with excellent analytical, leadership, communication, teamwork, flexibility and service skills.
  • A qualifying candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S. and successfully pass a drug screen and background investigation.
