Other Administrative Support Opportunities

In addition to the standard BOA role available in our branches, other support positions may be available to help a Financial Advisor run his or her business. These include: Senior level BOA, Branch Assistant and On-Call.

Senior Level BOA
BOAs who present a long-term commitment to the firm may advance to the senior level - enabling them to take on more responsibility and gain more recognition within the region. For example, many of our Sr. BOAs coordinate events, create regional newsletters and develop and run mentoring programs for new BOAs.

Branch Assistant
This role is for a full- or part-time associate who works closely with the BOA to complete a number of administrative support functions assigned by the Financial Advisor. The Branch Assistant position is not available in every branch. It is typically reserved for established, high volume offices.

On-Call
If the full-time BOA or branch assistant is away from the office, or there is a specific need to have another associate in the office to answer phones, greet visitors or perform other tasks, an 'on-call' associate may be used. On-calls can work in only a specific branch, or rotate between different branches similar to a substitute teacher. Contact a local Edward Jones branch if you are interested in an on-call position.
